Regent House is a new, mixed-use development comprises office, retail units, 24 luxury apartments and residents' facilities. MSMR is responsible for the space planning and interior architecture of the residential element of the scheme, Twenty Five W1.
MSMR's approach focusses on creating a design for the interior that complements the Stiff & Trevillion-designed, red-brick building and its Marylebone location.
The internal layouts are designed to organise the residential spaces around the irregular building geometry and within the elevational grid which unifies the residential and adjacent office spaces. Each apartment will provide residents with generous open-plan living space, filled with natural light. Softly coloured oak flooring, subtle stone colours and mix of matt and polished surfaces to reflect light, will create a calmness that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of the busy High Street below.
