Red Hall

Red Hall

Location Oxford
Client Stanhope and Oxford North Ventures

Red Hall forms the central hub of the first phase of Oxford North, an ambitious new life sciences campus on the edge of the city.

The building is conceived as a place of convergence — bringing together the innovative companies that occupy the development, Oxford's world-leading academic institutions, and the wider neighbourhood community. It is as much a civic gesture as a commercial one.

At ground floor level, a curated mix of co-working spaces, lounge areas, and a flexible gathering hall - known as the Town Hall - creates a meaningful heart to the masterplan. These spaces provide both everyday utility and the conditions for the kind of spontaneous exchange that drives innovation. A café with internal and external seating anchors the social life of the building and draws a natural connection to the surrounding landscaped public realm.

MSMR delivered the interior architecture across the full ground floor fit-out, encompassing space planning, interior finishes, and FF&E specification.

Working with Fletcher Priest – shell & core architect.
