This project converted a larger than normal mews property into a substantial new-build house behind a retained façade.
MSMR's design included an additional mansard storey, new basement level and a passenger lift to connect all levels of the contemporary family home. A double-height void was created to bring natural light into the habitable areas of the lower ground floor.
The project was shortlisted as a finalist in both the International Design & Architecture Awards and the SBID Design Excellence Awards.
