Sheffield School of Architecture students and winners of the MSMR Travel Award, Charlotte and Ryan have now completed their tour of Scandinavia, publishing some fantastic images on Instagram during their trip. We think this year's joint winners crammed in plenty of great design and hope this will inspire their future architecture practice.
WEEK 1 FINLAND (Jyvaskyla - Helsinki - Espoo - Turku) The pair visited several buildings and spaces by Alvar Aalto- including the Experimental House and Saynatsalo Town Hall - Aarno Ruusuvuori Campi's WeeGee Museum and St Henry's Ecumenical Art Chapel by Sanaksenaho Architects.
WEEK 2 SWEDEN (Stockholm - Gothenburg - Helsingborg - Malmo) Visits included Stokholm Townhall, Raumblabor Berlin's public sauna and Ralph Erskine's Lipstick Skyscraper.
WEEK 3 DENMARK (Copenhagen) Bjarke Engel Group's 8 House and VM Houses, and the Royal Danish Playhouse, Concert Hall and Library.
