Sheffield Year 3 student wins inaugural MSMR Travel Award

Sheffield architecture student Edmund Savory has won MSMR's inaugural Travel Award.

The award, open to Sheffield Year 3 students, is worth £2,000 and offers aspiring architects the opportunity to travel to a destination of their choice with the proviso that a sketch journal, photo essay, short film, interview or drawings recording the experience are submitted upon return.

Edmund won the award for his proposal to travel through central Italy, looking at the urban evolution of a number of classical Italian cities.
