MSMRs ‘Two Glass Backs and a Dodgy Knee’ returned to Scotland for the Buccleuch Property Challenge last week.
Set in the Queensbury Estate, starting from Drumlanrig Castle, the challenge saw teams of three race against the clock, navigating the beautiful estate while collecting points at checkpoints. Our team, made up of David Baggaley, Clinton Dugmore and Michael Bautista-Trimming, took on activities including river rapid tubing, paddleboarding and rifle shooting while orienteering on mountain bikes.
This year’s charity partner was Venture Scotland, a youth-led organisation delivering long-term, outdoor-based programmes that help young adults discover their self-worth and hope for the future. The Challenge raised over £22,000 to support Venture Scotland.
