Project progress - 10/09/18
Work continues apace at our mixed-use scheme in Mayfair. The contractor, Chase Construction, has completed the reinforced concrete frame and the final shape of the building is now showing (pictured below). Elsewhere the steel works have begun and the windows have arrived on site for installation.
The key feature of the design for the building (which will house a cleaning depot, offices and affordable residential units) is the decorative brickwork. It is already possible to see the distinctive diamond pattern taking shape.
The façade design responds to the architectural language of the local area with a careafully considered materials palette which includes red brick, red sandstone, granite, timber and a grey zinc roof.
