Built in 1924, Morley House forms two thirds of a Grade II listed block on London's Regent Street. The remaining third, Albany House - a previous MSMR project - has already been converted to residential use.
Behind retained Portland stone facades the building is being reconstructed and extended to provide 44 private rental apartments ranging in size from one to three bed including two penthouse duplex units. Residents’ amenities on the ground floor include a lounge and screening room. Retail space at ground and basement is enlarged and enhanced.
MSMR's interior concept design draws inspiration from the building’s jazz-age origins and its position in heart of the West End to create a refined, elegant look and feel.
The scheme is designed to achieve a BREEAM Excellent rating and is BIM level 2 compliant.
MSMR is providing a full architectural service on the development.
